The Retrievers (24-8) are back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018, the same year they stunned 1-seed Virginia in the first round. UMBC vs Howard Predictions
Both teams will duke it out in the First Four for the right to play 1-seed Michigan in the Round of 64. UMBC is back in motion following its drought post-2018, trying to reignite that spark that had them make history that year. As for Howard, they look to evade a second consecutive exit in this round after losing to Wagner in 2024. Either way, March Madness has arrived and basketball fans will look forward to this duel. Our betting pick here is the Retrievers to defend a 1.5-point spread.
