The Blue Devils (26-8) are on a remarkable roll in March Madness, first blowing out Charleston and Baylor to reach the Sweet 16. Ashlon Jackson totaled 12, while Taina Mair posted an impressive all-around effort of nine points, seven rebounds, eight assists and four steals.

The Tigers (29-5) continue building their case as a national championship contender this tournament, torching Jacksonville and most recently Texas Tech in the opening two rounds. Johnson had four rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Williams tallied seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal. The guards combined to go 18-of-28 from the field, 4-of-9 from behind the arc and 8-of-9 at the charity stripe.

Texas vs Purdue Head-to-Head

The two programs have had six meetings in their history, and the result is 3-3 for both teams. The last matchup was in December 2025 when LSU won 93-77 on the road.

Duke vs LSU Predictions

The winner of this matchup will take on the victors between UCLA and Minnesota in the Elite Eight on March 29. Duke hopes to have the upper hand over LSU with Delaney Thomas leading the attack. However, the Tigers possess an explosive attack as Flau’jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams look to deliver crucial performances. Our betting pick here is for the Tigers to defend a 9.5-point spread.
