Game Preview
The Wildcats (25-10) have made the solid effort to get to the Sweet 16, taking down James Madison and West Virginia in the process. They witnessed double-double performances from Teonni Key with 19 points and 10 rebounds as well as Clara Strack having 18 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots. Also, Tonie Morgan had 15 points to bolster the attack throughout the second-round game.
The Longhorns (33-3) are on a remarkable roll in March Madness, first beating Missouri State in the first round and eliminating Oregon in the Round of 32. Madison Booker sets a new Texas single-game NCAA Tournament record with 40 points. She notched her 15th game this season with 20 or more points and 43rd game of her career. In her last home game, Rori Harmon put up nine points, five steals, and six rebounds. Jordan Lee added 17 points with Teya Sidberry’s 11-point effort.
