The Racers (20-12) are coming off a quarterfinal loss to UIC at the MVC Tournament. Fred King and Javon Jackson and MVC Freshman of the Year Roman Domon command the squad as the star trio. King averages 13.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and two blocks, Jackson comes next with 16.5 points and 2.8 assists, while Domon produces 14.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest.

The Wolf Pack (22-12) last played in the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament where they lost to Utah State 79-66. Corey Camper will look to be active on the scoring front with averages of 17 points and four rebounds per game as the undisputed top scorer. Elijah Price may be a double-double threat in this matchup with 12.6 points and 8.3 rebounds, while Tayshawn Comer comes through with the playmaking with 11.4 points and 3.5 assists per contest.

Murray State vs Nevada Head-to-Head

The two programs are facing each other for the first time in their respective histories.

Murray State vs Nevada Predictions

This game may be a tossup as Murray State and Nevada never faced each other until now. Nevada does come out as the favorite after playing strong competition in the Mountain West, but Murray State could limit the potent attack that the Wolf Pack has by setting the tone defensively to start the matchup. Our betting pick here is for the Wolf Pack to cover a 9-point spread.
