AFC South Winner 2025 Outright Odds, Preview, Predictions
- AFC South is the most leveled division in the conference.
- The Houston Texans are the favorites to win it at +100.
- Indianapolis Colts haven’t won the division in the last 10 years.
Texans are the favorites to win the AFC South when looking at the odds, though, but we would be surprised to see any other team taking over the throne. Yes, including the Titans, who have the No.1 pick, Cam Ward. Why not? The Texans did that with CJ Stroud last season.

AFC South Preview
Houston Texans
The Texans have established themself as the playoff team in the AFC. CJ Stroud is the man, and the young QB has no problems taking the leading role on the field. But his offensive line isn’t protecting him well, because he suffered 52 sacks last year. However, with Nick Chubb’s arrival, he will have more room and time, that’s for sure.
Indianapolis Colts
Anthony Richardson is out, and that’s the biggest problem for the Colts. Yet, we really mean that Daniel Jones can play well in Indiana. After all, the offensive line is way better than the Giants’. We strongly believe that Jones served as the scapegoat in NY. The Colts’ defense is good, and it will be even better with DE Laiatu Latu. The special teams look solid, too. So this team could be a surprise.
Jacksonville Jaguars
We love Trevor Lawrence, but it seems that he is slowly losing ground. This is his do-or-die year, where he either proves his worth or sinks into mediocrity. What we think might help the team is the fact that there were a lot of changes in the coaching staff, with the defensive coordinator, Anthony Campanile, coming to Florida.
Tennesee Titans
QB Cam Ward, the top pick from this year’s draft, will have huge pressure on his back. The Titans have tried to build him a decent offensive line and protection, but we will see how that turns out. While Titans fans hope to see Houston’s scenario from Stroud’s rookie year, we must be more realistic and acknowledge that Tennessee has no chance of winning the division.
AFC South Predictions
Texans. That’s right. They already have a formed team and chemistry unlike any other team in the division. Jaguars are shaky, Colts are good, but untested, while Titans need time, because they don’t have the foundations like Houston when Stroud came.
