Chicago picked up their 4th win in their last 5 games, climbing to 7-9 on the year. Unfortunately, they were still eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday. They locked down the #1-overall pick via the Panthers as well, so the Bears will have an opportunity to take another big step forward next season. A crucial decision on whether to draft QB Caleb Williams or stick with Justin Fields is looming for the front office.

The Packers improved to 5-2 over the past two months, after starting the year just 3-6. Their complete turnaround can be capped off with a win against the Bears this week. Doing so would send Green Bay to the playoffs in Jordan Love’s first season as a starter. Love has been impressive this year, and currently ranks 10th in the NFL in QBR. Their defense has been less consistent, and needs to be at their best here.

Prediction

This is one of the most intriguing matchups of Week 18. The Packers have the ability to surprise many and make the postseason at 9-8, but will need to defeat a division rival to do so. After getting eliminated via Green Bay’s win on Sunday, the Bears will be itching to get some revenge in this game. This should be a close matchup, but I ultimately see the Packers coming away with the win and season sweep of the Bears.
