Adding Kenneth Walker III has made life much easier for Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs needed a dominant running back, and Walker has delivered with 701 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He had a quiet day in the 20-3 loss to the Seahawks, where they were extra motivated to shut him down on his return to Seattle.
Kansas City needs to bounce back after that defeat. Mahomes had one of his worst games in years, throwing for just 165 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Rarely does he put two quiet performances together, but Denver’s pass rush won’t make a bounce-back easy, and the lack of WR production isn’t helping either.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos come in feeling much better, with three straight wins over the Chargers, Seahawks, and Cardinals. Bo Nix hasn’t been at his best and may struggle to push the ball downfield, but Denver’s defense is winning games.
The unit has 21 sacks through seven games, and while its overall numbers don’t jump off the page, its impact is huge. Defensive end Zach Allen has 4.5 sacks, and linebacker Alex Singleton leads the NFL with 87 tackles.

With the total at 41.5, the under is our pick. Denver’s pass rush has 21 sacks in seven games, and the Kansas City offense is coming off a three-point performance in Seattle. Add a divisional game at Mile High, where November weather can turn cold and windy, and points should be hard to come by.
Denver also looks like the side on a near pick’em line. The Broncos are at home, have won three straight, and have already beaten the Seattle team that just held Kansas City to three points. At +105, they’re worth backing straight up as well.
