Arizona got a reality check in Week 7, losing 30-16 at home to the Broncos just a week after a road win over the Rams. It was the Cardinals’ fifth loss of the season, and the defense remains the biggest problem, allowing a league-worst 29.7 points per game.
Head coach Mike LaFleur and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis have plenty to fix. The pass rush is generating little pressure, and the red-zone defense has been even worse, giving up touchdowns on 17 of 24 trips inside the 20.
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas went into Philadelphia and came away with a 38-21 win, easily covering the spread against an Eagles team missing several key players.
Dak Prescott threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, while RB Javonte Williams ran for 155 yards and a score on 25 carries. Williams now has eight rushing touchdowns on the season, and the special teams chipped in with 92 punt return yards. That’s a lot of ways to score against a defense that struggles to get off the field.

Dallas has already slipped up once at home this season, against Tampa Bay, and with a playoff spot in the balance, it can’t afford another. Confidence is high after a statement win in Philadelphia, and the matchup could hardly be better against the league’s worst scoring defense.
At -285, the moneyline is a short price, so the value is on the spread. Williams and the Dallas run game should control this one, and with Arizona allowing touchdowns on more than 70% of its red-zone trips, the Cowboys have every chance of winning by a touchdown or more.
With the Cardinals giving up nearly 30 points a game and Dallas coming off 38 in Philadelphia, the Cowboys can do most of the work on their own, and even a modest day from the Arizona offense should push this past 54.5.
