NFC East Preview
Philadelphia Eagles
When you win the Super Bowl, there’s no need to explain why everyone sees you as the top favorite to win your division. We are aware of the championship hangover, the fact that Slay, Gardner-Johnson, and Maddox are out, but the Eagles should beat their rivals and stay on top of the NFC East.
Washington Commanders
This team is better than last year when they reached the NFC Championship game. They acquired some notable names in the defense, like Marshon Lattimore, and added some muscle to the O-line. When it comes to the offense, Jayden Daniels will lead the way, yet his team needs some raw power to challenge the Eagles.
Dallas Cowboys
Based on history, the Cowboys can win the division. Now, both the Eagles and the Commanders have significantly more demanding schedules compared to the previous season (both have the biggest increase in schedule difficulty), which could be an opportunity for Dallas. Although everything will depend on their injuries and Prescott’s health, we don’t see them creating an upset and taking the division.
New York Giants
The Giants are better than last year, but are still one of the worst teams in the conference, and for sure the worst in the NFC East. Plus, they have the toughest schedule in the entire league based on their rivals’ winning percentages during the previous year.
NFC East Predictions
This will be the battle between the Eagles and the Commanders, and solely because of their robust offensive power, we favor Philly here. If Saquon Barkley doesn’t slow down, the Commanders don’t stand a chance.
