NFC North Preview

Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are once again the favorites to win the title. They did that last year, looking very well, and it seems that the Lions again have an excellent talent in all lines. Though, there’s a catch. Coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn are out, and that might be a problem to cover up.

Green Bay Packers

Ok, so this is the season when we see whether Jordan Love has what it takes to be a winning leader, or if he’s a fluke. The Packers have one of the most talented receiving units in the NFL, and it’s all up to Love to use it properly. Other than that, Matt LeFleur’s crew looks solid and playoff-ready despite losing CB Jaire Alexander.

Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams should be better this year and enter the top 10 QBs in the league. Why? Because he’s more experienced, and because he has Ben Johnson from Detroit as his HC. And because Johnson added plenty of names to his offensive line, which should protect Williams better. So, keep an eye on the Bears.

Minnesota Vikings

The JJ McCarthy era has started, and we can’t wait to see how this develops. The Vikes have a good team, and all that it takes to win the division even. The team is playoff material, and it’s all up to McCarthy, who has much more talent than Sam Darnold. Now we have to see Kevin O’Connell and the staff making the 22-year-old explode.

NFC North Predictions

We don’t believe in Jordan Love and we’ll say that right away. The Packers are an excellent team, but Love simply doesn’t reassure us he’s worth $220 million. It’s too early for the Vikes to take over the division, which leaves us with the Lions and the Bears. Bears because of Johnson and his knowledge of the rivals (plus the fact that he isn’t scouted well), and the Lions due to their incredible quality both ways. If we had to pick, it would be the Lions solely because of their experience.
