Rams vs. Panthers Odds
Game Preview
The Rams eventually finished 5th in the NFC, even though they had a good chance of getting the top seed in the conference. The win over the Cardinals in the final week, 37-20, sealed their matchup with the “weakest” division champions.
It was good to see Matt Stafford in his usual mode, throwing 4 TDs in this one, reaching 42 in total this year. Colby Parkinson had two TD catches, while Tyler Higbee and Puka Nacua had one each.
On the other hand, the Panthers lost to the Buccaneers, 16-14, on the road, but the Falcons’ triumph over the Saints clinched the division title for them, despite their 8-9 record.
Carolina’s rushing in Tampa Bay’s rainy weather was disastrous, with Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle each gaining 10 yards on the ground. Bryce Young had 266 passing yards for two scores and one pick.
Rams vs. Panthers Head to Head
Back on November 30, the Rams visited Charlotte to lose that one, 31-28. Young had three TD passes, while Stafford posted three turnovers.
Rams vs. Panthers Predictions
No matter the weather and other circumstances, the Rams will win this one, because Young and the boys are just too inconsistent. In our opinion, this will be a statement win for the Rams, who will cover the spread.
