Hutchinson and McCaffrey Lead the Way

On the other hand, we don’t need to emphasize how important CMC was to the 49ers. He is one of the most versatile offensive players of the last two decades, and his numbers are simply not realistic. His ligament injury caused him to end the season without a single touchdown, a year after he won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award.
Dak’s and Trevor’s Soulsearching
These two guys are in limbo right now. If they have good seasons, they will be elite once again. But if they don’t, they just might sink into mediocrity. Prescott got the fluke label when it comes to playoffs, while Lawrence might be one of the biggest busts in the Jags’ history if he fails to deliver now.
Both had terrible seasons last year and are expected to show up and bounce back in the 2025 NFL campaign.

One by one, names like JJ McCarthy, Rashee Rice, and Maxx Crosby are on the NFL Comeback Player of the Year contenders list. There’s one name that stands out in our opinion, and that’s Stefon Diggs. He is in New England now, eager to step on the field following his ACL tear in the previous season.
