Bears vs. Falcons Predictions – Under 47.5 Points
Expert NFL Pick:
We had to go with Under 47.5 points here. First, both teams rely heavily on the run game. The Bears generate 173.2 rushing yards and lead the NFL in this category. Guess who is No.2… The Atlanta Falcons with 166.8 yards on the ground. Their starting RB Bijan Robinson leads the league with 580 yards, while Chicago has No.10 D’Andre Swift with 354 and No.12 Kyle Monangai with 324.
However, on the other side, both teams have superb run-game defenses. Atlanta ranks 4th, allowing 80.2 yards on the ground, and the Bears rank 9th, allowing 96 ypg. Jeff Ulbrich and Dennis Allen are doing a great job, and both will find a way to restrain the other’s offensive coordinator on Saturday night. Therefore, one should neutralize the other, or at least keep the numbers down.
Looking at Over/Under trends since the start of the season, the Bears are 1-4 and the Falcons 2-3, which further supports our choice. Many believe that if Caleb Williams returns, the Bears will have more running options and, overall, a better attack, but even with that, Under is our final suggestion for this event.
