The Commanders suffered a heartbreaking 24-22 road loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1. Dan Quinn’s team showed strong fight late in the game, coming up just short on a potential game-tying two-point conversion drive in the final minute.
Jayden Daniels threw for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he also ran for 31. He found veteran WR Stefon Diggs for one score, while the other went to Antonio Williams. Overall, the offense looked solid against a tough, formidable Eagles defense.
The Cowboys fell in New York vs. the Giants, 28-20. Brian Schottenheimer’s crew was constantly behind the hosts, unable to make that one push and level with the NYG. There were two reasons for that: No. 1, poor run game, No. 2, lack of pass-rush pressure.
Dallas didn’t have a single sack in this event. Also, the offense generated just 69 rushing yards. Javonte Williams ran for 41 on 12 carries, while Prescott added 14 yards on the ground. Meanwhile, Prescott threw for just 175 yards, two TDs and one pick.
