Panthers vs. Falcons Odds
Game Preview
Panthers lost to the Chicago Bears in Week 1, 59-37. The defense looked terrible, and Caleb Williams cut through it like a knife through butter. This was the highest-scoring opening game ever, and it resulted in a Scorigami. The defense allowed 247 rushing yards and 552 total yards.
QB Bryce Young threw for 361 passing yards and 3 touchdowns with an interception. Jalen Coker had 138 receiving yards with two TDs.
Falcons could have defeated the Steelers in Pittsburgh, as they had their chances. In the end, it was 20-13 for the hosts, who squeezed this one out. Now, when we say that Atlanta did this with Cooper Rush as the starter, the whole situation sounds much better.
The No.3 QB had only 143 passing yards with a TD and two picks. Tua and Penix Jr. are still questionable, yet if one of them steps up this Saturday, the Falcons should look way better. Also, RB Bijan Robinson had 173 yards from scrimmage and a TD.
Panthers vs. Falcons Predictions
This one is all about who starts for the Falcons. If either of the two mentioned (Tua or Penix) begins in the backfield, we are picking the Falcons to win. With either of those, this team is at least 30% better than with Rush.
