Patriots vs. Jaguars Odds
Game Preview
Following a loss in Seattle, the Patriots (1-1) have bounced back with a commanding win at home over the Steelers, 20-3. Everything worked almost perfectly for the Pats, who squished Pittsburgh in every aspect of play.
First of all, they sacked Aaron Rodgers 4 times, limiting him to just 187 passing yards, no touchdowns, and picking the 4-time MVP once. We can’t say that Drake Maye had his night (208 yards, 0 TDs and one pick), but the defense was excellent.
Jags (1-1) lost to the Broncos 20-13 at Mile High last weekend. Denver’s pass rush harassed Trevor Lawrence, who threw for just 189 passing yards, no TDs, and one interception.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville’s run game was also poor, with only 95 yards on the ground. RB Bhayshul Tuten had 65 rushing yards on 13 carries for one TD. Overall, a mediocre performance for the Florida franchise.
Patriots vs. Jaguars Predictions
Now, the Jags are a completely different team when playing at home. They were 7-2 at home in 2025. Jacksonville faces a sluggish Drake Maye, whose performances are masked behind a solid defense, so we would pick the Jaguars to win this one and cover the spread.
