Vikings vs. Buccaneers Odds Week 3
Game Preview
The Minnesota Vikings (2-0) beat their NFC North division rivals, the Bears, in Chicago last week, 9-3. They’ve locked the team that scored 59 points seven days earlier to just three, in their own house. Though, to be honest, Chicago was without rhythm as well.
O’Connell’s defense was solid at stopping Caleb Williams in front of the end zone. They forced two turnovers, one fumble and one interception, and even though the Bears had more yards from scrimmage, 297-246, in the key moments, the defense stepped up.
Bucs (0-2) suffered a shocking loss at home last week. Browns won in Florida, 23-19, handing the hosts their second loss of the year. Baker Mayfield had only 182 passing yards for a TD and a pick, and looked mediocre.
That TD pass went to Emeka Egbuka, who finished with only 16 receiving yards. RB Bucky Irving had 17 carries for 89 rushing yards, while Mayfil himself added 29 on 4 scrambles.
Vikings vs. Buccaneers Predictions
Minnesota’s defense did show up against the Bears, yet it wasn’t all about them, but more about the Bears’ lack of focus. In our opinion, this made the bookies lower the Over/Under line more than was needed. On the other hand, the Buccaneers’ offense struggles, and that’s pretty obvious. The 42.5-point line is high, so UNDER imposes itself as the best possible pick.
