Game Preview
Cincinnati Bengals (2-0) earned a 20-6 road victory over the Houston Texans in Week 2. Zac Taylor’s defense stepped up, using every weakness CJ Stroud and his O-line had to limit the Texans to just 6 points.
Meanwhile, Joe Burrow navigated the offense well, even though he had a hard time against Will Anderson and his defensive line. Burrow threw for 207 yards with 2 TD passes despite being sacked 5 times. Both Burrow’s scoring passes were to Ja’Marr Chase.
The Steelers (1-1) suffered a hard beating in Foxborough, losing to the Patriots 20-3. Pittsburgh’s O-line didn’t protect Aaron Rodgers at all, allowing 4 sacks for 43 negative yards. Rodgers finished the game without a TD pass with one interception and only 187 passing yards.
Meanwhile, the runners brought only 91 yards on the ground. Jaylen Warred ran 11 times for 43 yards, and Rico Dowdle had 22 on 7 carries. Not good at all.
