Texans vs. Colts Odds
Game Preview
CJ Stroud threw for 353 passing yards on 55 attempts. He didn’t have any TD passes or interceptions and was sacked 4 times. Stroud is under heavy pressure to step up and deliver, especially following poor closure of the previous and start of this campaign.
Houston’s rushing was terrible, with only 60 yards. Stroud had 29 of them. The defense was solid, sacking Burrow 5 times and recording 10 QB hits. But the offense was sluggish, and it’s no wonder the Texans lost 20-6.
Indianapolis Colts (0-2) lost to the Chiefs in Kansas City on Sunday Night Football, 33-30 following an OT. This was a good display by the Colts, who are 0-2 but had two Super Bowl rivals as opponents, the Ravens and the Chiefs.
Daniel Jones had 210 passing yards, for one TD and one pick, while Jonathan Taylor ran for 92 yards and two touchdowns. Indy’s defense was terrible, allowing 523 scrimmage yards, 371 of them through the air.
Texans vs. Colts Predictions
It seems that the Texans can’t get their offense started. Stroud struggles badly, and the defense pays the price by being under pressure all the time. Meanwhile, the Colts have what it takes to beat this Houston – Jones is constant, Taylor is okay too, and their offense is consistent overall.
