Game Preview
The Seahawks (2-0) were great against the Cardinals in Glendale, beating their NFL West division rivals 31-7. Drew Lock replaced Sam Darnold perfectly, throwing for 235 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Shoutout to the Seahawks’ O-line, which allowed just one sack.
All three of Lock’s touchdown passes were to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who had 9 receptions for 155 total yards. Last year’s OPOY was incredible, and it seems that he quickly clicked with Lock. Defense was perfect, limiting the Cards to only 151 scrimmage yards.
Counting in the preseason, the Washington Commanders (0-2) played 4 consecutive matches away from home. Week 1 of the regular season saw them lose in Philly 24-22, and last weekend we saw them crash in Dallas vs. the Cowboys, 37-20.
The biggest question in Washington now is the condition of their starting QB, Jayden Daniels, who has ongoing elbow issues. He reaggravated that injury against the Cowboys and is unsure for Week 3. Even if Daniels plays, he won’t be 100% fit.
