Game Preview
The Rams (1-1) easily routed the Giants last week in Monday Night Football, 27-6. NY’s QB Jaxson Dart picked up an injury early, so the LA team didn’t have much trouble, and it didn’t spend too much energy.
Mat Stafford regained his confidence following a weak opener in Melbourne. The former NFL MVP had 327 passing yards for 4 TDs, and only one interception. WR Davante Adams caught 195 yards on 8 receptions for 2 scores.
The Denver Broncos (1-1) posted a huge home win against AFC playoff rival the Jaguars, 20-13. QB Bo Nix was solid, having 288 passing yards for a score and a pick. He connected perfectly with QR Jaylen Waddle, who had 8 receptions for 138 yards.
Defense didn’t have many problems. It contained Trevor Lawrence well, limiting his scrambling and, overall, the Jags’ run game to just 95 yards. Meanwhile, the O-line protected Nix from sacks, allowing none.
