Browns vs. Jets Odds
Game Preview
Browns are one of the biggest surprises of the year, currently holding a 3-1 record. They are among the best pass-rush teams in the NFL, posting 12 sacks so far, No. 5 in the league. Tough defense when it matters the most, and Deshaun Watson’s individual spark are the main reasons why the Browns have 3 wins and a loss.
Mason Graham leads the way among the defenders with 4 sacks. Though he might miss this one due to an injury, that would be a massive blow for the Ohio team.
Jets also have injury trouble. QB Geno Smith has wrist issues, and Breece Hall has quad issues. They are pretty much the pylons of the Jets’ offense, and their absence would be catastrophic.
Aaron Glenn’s boys defend third downs pretty well. They’ve stopped 67%, or 46 of 63 attempts. Overall, the Jets have more problems on offense than defense, allowing only 21 points per game, 11th in the league.
Browns vs. Jets Predictions
We pick Under here. The game features teams that aren’t gifted offensively, but have plenty of quality on the defensive side of the ball. Also, the fact that both units have plenty of injuries, especially the Jets, could lower the number of points.
- Free NFL pick: Under 40.5
