Seahawks vs. Cardinals Odds
Game Preview
Sam Darnold will miss this event, and it’s uncertain when he will return. For now, Seattle’s starting QB will remain Drew Lock. Lock had an OK performance against the Patriots, posting 187 passing yards for one TD to Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
The defense will have to be very tough now, because it has to give Lock some time to adjust. Against the Pats, the secondary did a very good job, limiting Drake Maye to only 168 passing yards. If they keep up at the same pace, Seattle will remain in contention for the NFC West title even though Darnold isn’t available.
Jacoby Brissett looked very good against the Chargers, and the Cardinals QB will be the main problem for the Seahawks defense. He threw for 277 yards and one TD. His connection with Terry McBride led to that score and allowed the strong TE to get 95 yards.
No. 3 pick in this year’s draft, Jeremiyah Love, had one TD and 41 rushing yards on 11 carries. He had some ankle problems over the last few weeks, but he is expected to be 100% healthy for this event.
Seahawks vs. Cardinals Predictions
We don’t believe in Lock right now. Especially not on the road, against the division rival. Even though Seattle has a superb defense, we have to side with the Cardinals in this one and bet on them to defend the spread.
