Steelers vs. Patriots Odds
Game Preview
TJ Watt had two sacks against the Falcons. He was fantastic, along with LB Payton Wilson, who posted 13 tackles. The defense was the main reason why the Steelers won this one. And the fact that the Falcons started with third-string QB Cooper Rush.
Aaron Rodgers threw 40 times and completed only 24 passes. He tossed for 221 yards and one touchdown. He would probably be better if his running backs provided more than 61 rushing yards.
The Patriots lost once again to the Seahawks, only this time in the regular season. It was 13-10 at Lumen in Week 1, and even though the Pats played against Sam Darnold-less Seattle, they couldn’t beat the champs.
Why? The reason is simple: Drake Maye. He was picked three times, having just one TD pass and a QBR of 58.5. Maye suffered three sacks, and the Patriots will need more time to better sync Maye’s protection.
Steelers vs. Patriots Predictions
Defenses will lead the way here. It’s no wonder the total is set at 42.5 points. Pittsburgh has problems with its run game, Patriots have problems protecting Maye, so under is our choice here.
