NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Contenders

The Raiders picked Jeanty as the No.6 in this NFL draft, and if everything goes well, he should be the focal piece of their offense. Not only on the ground, but in general, because the team is in a rebuild and he is the foundation of that process. Given how Pete Carroll likes RBs, Jeanty should be nothing but spectacular in Nevada.

Cam Ward’s position is very delicate. He is under heavy pressure, and the team depends upon him. The former Miami QB is known for his resiliency, but every No. 1 pick is always under constant media scrutiny. His odds (+350) are somewhat longer than Jeanty’s (+275), but that doesn’t mean anything.

Shough and Sanders Darkhorses?

Tyler Shough will probably win the battle for the Saints’ No.1 QB. He might just be the perfect fit for the New Saints, who are set to lay the foundation for the future this year. Shough has no pressure on his back, unlike Ward. Nobody expects anything from him, yet the former Louisville superstar has to offer a lot.

Shedeur Sanders went to the Browns. They don’t have such a strong QB competition, despite Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett being there. That’s one reason why Sanders could easily emerge as a starter, and from that point on, who knows, he just might be the next best thing in the NFL.

Anyway, both players are interesting betting longshots.
