Pete Carroll will head coach the Raiders for the first time since landing in Nevada. This is the start of a new chapter for the LAR, who desperately need a good season to bounce back following years and years of mediocre performances.
He will go all out from the start to assess his roster and explore all options. Raheem Mostert and Dont’e Thornton Jr. (rookie) are expected to appear and take a few snaps to show their current shape.
Sam Darnold is the No.1 QB, but the second string isn’t decided yet. Drew Lock will try to reach that spot and revive his career. The 28-year-old recorded 5 starts for the Giants last year, posting 6 TDs and 5 interceptions.
Though his competition will be a third-rounder from this year’s draft, Jalen Milroe, a QB from Alabama. The 22-year-old had 20 rushing touchdowns last year in college, and looks like a very interesting QB.
