Chiefs vs. Seahawks Odds
Game Preview
The Chiefs have been loaded with talent at the QB position, so the battle for Mahomes’ replacement promises excitement. Bailey Zappe threw 70 yards against the Cards, though he had two intercepted passes. Gardner Minshew had 54 passing yards, 6-for-9, while Chris Oladokun had 39, but 26 rushing yards too.
The only passing TD in the game was a one-yard throw by Mahomes. The other TD was Minshew’s rushing TD. For the moment, he seems to have an edge over other guys in the race for the backup QB, but that one is still far from over.
The Seahawks had the win against Pete Carroll and the Raiders in the pocket, but they wasted a 16-3 lead at the end of the first half. Eventually, it was 23-23. Daniel Carlson tried to hit a 55-yard field goal, but it was blocked.
Drew Lock had 147 passing yards, 12-for-22, for one TD pass and one pick. He wasn’t sacked during his time on the field. What was extremely positive for the Saints was their running game, which generated 170 yards on the ground. George Holani had 61 rush yards and a TD, while Jacardia Wright added one more score on the ground.

This is a long-standing rivalry, with these two sides having met 53 times. Seattle won 19 games and KC 34. The last one was in Kansas City in 2022, with the Chiefs winning at home, 24-10.
