Game Preview

The Packers’ quarterbacks were terrible in a 30-10 loss to the Jets last weekend. Jordan Love was 1 for 5 for 7 yards, and he definitely needs to shape up before the season starts. After all, he is the leader of the team, and the most expensive player in it, so there’s no alibi for such a performance. Malik Willis had 39 passing yards but was sacked three times for 17 yards and fumbled the ball once.

Amar Johnson was the sole bright spot in the Packs’ team, with the running back posting 67 yards on the ground in 7 carries and one touchdown. Overall, Green Bay had 124 rushing yards, averaging 5.9 per carry.

The Colts visited the Ravens, losing that event 24-16. After an efficient first half, the second part of the game was more about defense, and the Colts did look solid in that aspect as well. Daniel Jones had 144 passing yards, though he completed 10 of his 21 passes. Riley Leonard had 92, with a pick.

On the other hand, the rushers were solid, having 126 yards combined on 28 carries, which is good. Colts’ only TD of the game came on the ground when Khalil Herbert carried the ball into the endzone from the one-yard line.

Packers vs. Colts Head to Head

There were 47 games between these two franchises, and the current record stands at 24-22-1 in favor of the Colts. The previous event was in 2024, when the Packers won at home, 16-10.

Packers vs. Colts Predictions

Both teams will run, that’s for sure, as that element of the game works well for them. Though it appears that the Colts are more stable when it comes to passers, plus they play at home, and we’ve seen them battle well on the defensive side against the Ravens, so our pick is them to win here.
