Titans vs. Falcons Odds
Game Preview
Cam Ward’s long-awaited debut was OK, but his Titans were demolished by the Buccaneers, who won 29-7. Not a great intro for the upcoming season, then again, the game was in Florida. Ward was 5-for-8 for 67 passing yards.
Calvin Ridley was in excellent shape, catching three passes for 50 yards. Rushers were below average, having 66 yards combined, while on the other side, the Bucks racked up 178, and Owen Wright had 87 alone. Yet, the Titans’ only points of the match were delivered when Tony Pollard carried the ball into the endzone.
The Falcons dropped the game at home against the Lions 17-10. Like their upcoming rivals, they too had a terrible rush game, with a miserable 22 yards on the ground throughout 60 minutes of play.
Yet Easton Stick with 149 passing yards and one TD, and Emory Jones, who had 45, were excellent on the offensive side. Dylan Drummond caught 8 passes for 63 yards, and Chris Blair had 54 receiving yards with a TD catch.
Titans vs. Falcons Head to Head
There were 16 matches so far between these two sides, with the Titans leading 9-7 in the series. The most recent game was in 2023 when Tennessee won at home, 28-23.
Titans vs. Falcons Predictions
These two teams struggled defensively in their first appearances. The Titans will utilize Ward more in this game, and we expect to see Penix Jr. for the Falcons. This is why we bet on over 36.5 points.
