Steelers vs. Panthers Odds
Game Preview
The Steelers suffered a tight loss in Tampa Bay, 17-14. There were two sides to this team: one early in the game, which allowed the Bucs to score two TDs, and the other in the latter part of the contest, when they restored the balance and hit back.
Sure, they lost with a walk-off field goal, as Chase McLauglin scored from 42 yards, but there’s no need for them to be disappointed. Given that Aaron Rodgers didn’t play, this was acceptable.
The Panthers have scored 13 points in two preseason games. This is unacceptable, regardless of the circumstances. After losing to the Browns 30-10 at home last week, they were trashed by the Texans in Houston, 20-3.
Bryce Young was 0-for-2 and was sacked once. Not a good sign, no matter that this one is a preseason test. The Panthers were 1-for-10 on third down and had two turnovers while forcing none.
Steelers vs. Panthers Head to Head
There were 8 games so far between the two franchises, and the Steelers lead 7-1. Most recent was in 2022, when Pittsburgh triumphed on the road, 24-16.
Steelers vs. Panthers Predictions
We take the Steelers here because we expect to see Aaron Rodgers and some of the starters, and due to Carolina’s terrible form. Even if the hosts play with the top players, that won’t change things too much.
