Game Preview

The Vikes start with JJ McCarthy at quarterback, and that’s something that increases tension ahead of this one. This will be his first road start in the NFL, and there’s a lot of enigma surrounding this guy.

Though he will have help in the form of the league’s top wide receiver, Justin Jefferson, who will be McCarthy’s primary target. The Bears’ secondary is solid, with CB Jaylon Johnson and the rest of the crew, so prepare for an intense battle.

Ben Johnson took over the Bears this offseason. He’ll have last year’s No.1 pick at his disposal, QB Caleb Williams, and a very talented offensive team. Williams had 3,541 passing yards last year with 20 touchdowns and 6 picks. Not bad at all.

The Bears’ defense was solid throughout the years. They are currently struggling with minor injuries, but overall, they should be among the better defensive units in the NFL.
