Jaguars vs. Texans Odds
Game Preview
Jags survived Las Vegas and the Raiders after an OT, 30-29. Following back-to-back losses at home, this was a breath of fresh air for the wildcats from Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence was the game-winner as he scored in overtime to move his team up. Later on, the defense stopped the Raiders’ two-point conversion, securing the triumph.
Lawrence had zero TD passes and one interception, with 220 yards through the air. However, he ran for two scores. Travis Etienne had 84 rushing yards, and overall, the Jags recorded 151 yards on the ground.
The Texans lost to the Broncos in a thriller, 18-15. All of their 15 points came following field goals; neither Davis Millas nor CJ Stroud could hit a single TD pass throughout the game. Also, the rushers provided just 77 running yards.
On the other hand, the defense picked Bo Nix once, and they managed to sack him just once. Overall, this was a stalemate, with the Broncos having more nerves in the final minutes and a more reliable quarterback.
Jaguars vs. Texans Head to Head
Texans lead the series 31-16. There was already one game between these teams in this campaign, with the Jags winning at home, 17-10.
Jaguars vs. Texans Predictions
The Texans are going to hit the Jags hard here, and we’re not so sure that Lawrence and the boys can handle that. After all, we’ve seen them struggle in recent times. That’s why we have to back up Houston to triumph in this event.
