Saints vs. Panthers Odds
Game Preview
The Saints are apparently after the top pick in the following NFL Draft. With a 1-8 record, this team is dead last in the NFC, and that’s why they decided to switch quarterbacks and allow Tyler Shough to show his worth.
His debut wasn’t that great, because the Rams rolled over New Orleans in LA, 34-10. Shough had 176 passing yards for one TD and one intercepted pass. We have to say that OT Trevor Penning and WR Rashid Shaheed were both traded this Tuesday night.
The Panthers are positive, and what’s more important, Bryce Young has won five games in a row right now. He was out, and Andy Dalton played in a 40-9 defeat to the Bills, meaning that the former No. 1 pick is unbeaten since the start of October.
The previous weekend, the Panthers’ defense did the job in Green Bay, holding the hosts to 13 points, while the offense delivered 16. Young had 102 passing yards for one interception, but Rico Dowdle ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns. He’s been incredible this year.
Saints vs. Panthers Head to Head
After 61 games, the Saints lead the series, 32-29. Last year, the Saints won at home, 47-10, while the Panthers triumphed in Charlotte, 23-22.
Saints vs. Panthers Predictions
New Orleans traded some of their players, and we believe the Saints are slowly preparing for the next season. This is excellent news for the Panthers, who must win here and who, overall, are a better team. So it’s Carolina to cover a 5.5-point spread.
