Game Preview

The Giants have been off the course lately, and ever since they lost to the Broncos, allowing 33 points in the final quarter, this team has been on a sharp downward slope. Not just due to results, but also injuries (Skattebo) and various setbacks.

Offense isn’t that bad, but the defense fell apart. Giants have allowed 105 points in the last 3 games, 33 at least. So, no matter how good QB Jaxson Dart is, his offense can’t cover up all the defense’s mistakes. Paradoxically, the sack league-leader is the Giants’ Brian Burns with 11.

The Bears barely won in Cincinnati, 47-42, despite holding a 14-point lead with 12 minutes remaining. They would eventually even allow the Bengals to take over the lead, 42-41, with 54 left, but Colston Loveland’s 58-yard reception saved the day.

The young tight end finished the game with 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns. An incredible RB Kyle Monangai had 176 rushing yards on 26 carries. He crushed the Bengals’ defense.

Giants vs. Bears Head to Head

This rivalry saw 63 games, with the Bears leading 36-25-2. The last match was in 2022, when the Bears won 20-12.

Giants vs. Bears Predictions

We pick the Bears. They had 4 games on the road in the previous 5 meetings, and during that stretch, Chicago’s record was 4-1. Considering this and the fact that the Giants are banged up and losing momentum, we pick the Bears to win.
