The Detroit Lions have been rather inconsistent lately, winning and losing consecutively in their past five matches. Though the good thing is that after losing to the Vikings at home, 27-24, they quickly bounced back to beat the Commanders on the road, 44-22.
The second offense in the NFL worked well, with Jared Goff posting 320 passing yards with three touchdown passes, and Jahmyr Gibbs rushing for 142 yards and two scores on the ground. The Lions had 226 running yards.
Eagles beat the Packers on the road, 10-7, posting a huge win and maybe making the turning point of the year. They had a grueling first half, which saw no points, and eventually DeVonta Smith cracked the Packs. He had 69 receiving yards and the sole TD of the game for the Eagles.
Philly’s defense was up to the task, having three sacks and forcing two turnovers, both from fumbles. Jordan Love was harassed all the time and was without a proper rhythm.
