Game Preview

The Bucs hosted the Patriots last Sunday and lost 28-23. It was a grueling game, which saw the Bucks lose their pace at the end of the second and start of the third period, which the Pats cleverly exploited.

Baker Mayfield once again had one hell of a game, posting 3 TDs and 273 passing yards. The rushers had 113 yards on the ground, and overall, the offense wasn’t the problem, but the defense. They had just one sack and didn’t pressure Maye that much, even though he committed one pick.

As for the Bills, losing to the Dolphins 30-13 was probably the upset of the round. Sure, they played on the road, but still, we haven’t seen Buffalo this bad in a while.

Their run game produced 87 yards, and Josh Allen threw an interception and lost a fumble. Despite having 305 yards and two touchdown passes, the reigning MVP was limited, and the whole offense looked pale.

Buccaneers vs. Bills Head to Head

Tampa Bay leads in the overall series, 8-5. The most recent encounter was in 2023 when Buffalo won at home, 24-18.

Buccaneers vs. Bills Predictions

Tampa Bay’s injuries are slowly taking their toll, and as the season nears its end, that’ll be more and more obvious. On the other hand, the Bills must bounce back, and their sense of urgency, home-field edge, and familiarity with cold weather should be enough to take down the Bucs.
