Game Preview

Houston comes into this event flying, having won 4 of the past 5 games, allowing the fewest yards per game and ranking second in the NFL with only 16.5 points conceded. So, they are a defense-first team and lately, their results are excellent.

The Texans beat the Bills last weekend, 23-19, absolutely annihilating Buffalo’s offense and the reigning NFL MVP, Josh Allen, who was sacked 6 times. Safety Calen Bullock had three forced turnovers and was the star of this event.

Meanwhile, the Colts wasted an 11-point lead in Kansas City and lost to the Chiefs in OT, 23-20. Indy controlled the situation until early in the final period, when their game collapsed.

The reason for all this is that Daniel Jones couldn’t find his way around without Jonathan Taylor, who was stopped. The top rusher in the NFL had only 58 yards on the ground in 16 carries, way below his average. Also, the Colts had just 255 yards overall, one of the worst performances of the year.

Texans vs. Colts Head to Head

The record in this division rivalry is on the Colts’ side, 33-13-1. Last year, the Texans won both events, 29-27 in Indianapolis and 23-20 at home. They have 4 wins in the past 5 events.

Texans vs. Colts Predictions

We aren’t that sure about the Colts anymore. Their last three games have been pretty shaky, while the Texans seem very strong and confident. We pick Houston to defend a 4.5-point spread in this one.
