Colts vs. Jaguars Odds
Game Preview
Indianapolis Colts lost three of the last 4, with the most recent at home to the Houston Texans, 20-16. Previously, we saw them wasting a win in Kansas City, with the Chiefs flipping the result and winning in OT, 23-20.
Daniel Jones was limited to 201 passing yards and two TD passes, and was, all in all, solid. Jonathan Taylor was limited to 85 rushing yards in 21 carries, and no other Colts’ players ran at all. This was the main reason for this loss.
Meanwhile, the Jags had an easy ride in Tennessee, where they defeated the Titans, 25-3. This was a one-way street since the kick-off, with the guests showing their quality and better form.
With three wins in a row, Jacksonville is in excellent form ahead of the crucial phase of the season. The Jags’ defense is showing up all the time, and their run stoppers are the best in the league, allowing only 82.4 per game. Something which will be important against Taylor.
Colts vs. Jaguars Head to Head
These AFC South rivals have met 48 times in the past. The result is 28-20 for the Colts. Last year, both had a win each.
Colts vs. Jaguars Predictions
The Indianapolis Colts are an offensively potent team; nobody can deny that. But under pressure, we see that Jones easily breaks. Meanwhile, the Jags aren’t very consistent on offense either, as we’ve seen so many times this year. The proposed total is 48.5 points, which is too high for this one, as we expect a hard, ruthless battle on the field.
