After a slow start to his season, Rams’ quarterback Matthew Stafford is finally hitting top gear and was imperious in their 19-36 win over the Browns. The 35-year-old veteran threw 22/37 for 279 yards and 3 touchdowns. Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, and Demarcus Robinson found the endzone as a result of Stafford’s accuracy. RB Kyren Williams saw 22 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown as he continues to impress in his second season.
The Ravens will hope to come off their bye week without losing the momentum they have built up recently with consecutive wins over the Bengals and Chargers. Quarterback Lamar Jackson missed practice on Thursday due to illness but is expected to be fine by Sunday. Linebacker Trenton Simpson and defensive end Justin Madubuike were placed in concussion protocol following the week 12 win over the Chargers, they are both expected to suit up on Sunday barring further setbacks.
Prediction
Both of these teams have been in great form recently, and this should be a hugely entertaining matchup. With the Rams’ offense firing on all cylinders again I think they can cause an upset here and defeat the Ravens.
