Game Preview

The Atlanta Falcons suffered a huge loss to the Seattle Seahawks, 37-9, last week. At home, which makes it even more painful. Kirk Cousins was intercepted twice, and he ended the game with just 162 passing yards and no touchdown passes.

The biggest problem for Atlanta was third-down conversions, as they had only one successful in 13 attempts. Furthermore, Cousins and the boys were terrible in the red zone, having four trips there without making a single score.

We don’t have much to say about the Buccaneers, who collapsed in the last few weeks. They are 1-4 in the past five, with the most recent loss coming at home against the sorry division rivals, the Saints, 24-20.

All three touchdowns against the Bucs came on the ground, where they allowed 139 yards. Tampa Bay had more rushing yards, 179, but only one score. Baker Mayfield had one of the worst performances this season, passing for just 122 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He was completely out of this game.

Falcons vs. Buccaneers Head to Head

In 64 games, both teams have 32 wins. They already met this year in Atlanta, when the Buccaneers won 23-20 on September 7.

Falcons vs. Buccaneers Predictions

Atlanta is terrible, and the Buccaneers aren’t better. The thing here is that the hosts have better individuals, and the home-field edge, and it’s hard to believe that Tampa Bay might lose twice in a row at home. This is the right moment for them to get back in the saddle and have a productive offensive performance.
