Game Preview

Green Bay has a tiebreaker in the division against both the Lions and the Bears after last weekend. Back then, Love and the boys beat Chicago, 28-21. It was a solid performance from the Packs, but they looked as if there was more gas in their tank.

They are the 6th-best scoring defense in the NFL, allowing 19 points per game and limiting opponents to 287.2 passing yards, 5th 5th-fewest in the league. Since Micah Parsons landed in Green Bay, this unit has become one of the best defenses in pro football.

The Broncos are equally good when speaking about the defense, maybe better. They allow 18.1 points, 4th fewest, and limit the rivals to 282 yards per encounter. Also, they have the second-best run defense, 89 yards per game.

Now, what’s even more impressive is that the Broncos posted 10 wins in a row. They are one of the hottest, if not the hottest, teams in the NFL. None of those victories were impressive, but that’s how the Broncos play, tough, nasty, but effective.

Packers vs. Broncos Head to Head

There were 16 games between these teams, and the Broncos lead the series, 8-7-1. In 1998, we saw Super Bowl XXXII when the Broncos won, 31-24.

Packers vs. Broncos Predictions

We will be courageous and take a risk, betting on the Packers. Love is better than Nix, despite his oscillations. And we think he’ll better adjust to hard defense than his counterpart, who, apart from the Texans, didn’t meet harsh defensive units in the near past.
