Jets vs. Jaguars Odds
Game Preview
The New York Jets need a new and reliable QB. Tyrod Taylor was supposed to improve certain things here, but this team is still dead last in passing yards in the NFL. We saw them blown out at home by division rivals, the Dolphins, 34-10, posting only 142 yards through the air.
Miami was even worse, but the Fins racked up 237 rushing yards, while the Jets had just 65. And when we add that Aaron Glenn’s crew made three turnovers, it’s understandable why they lost.
Jaguars have 4 consecutive victories, and their defense has been pretty good. They allowed 52 points combined during that stretch, holding the Chargers to 6 points and the Colts to 19. Jags have the No.1 run defense in the league, allowing only 82.9 yards per game.
Offense is stable and reliable these days, unlike early in the season. Trevor Lawrence still knows to mess things up from time to time, but overall, he’s playing at the Pro Bowl level.
Jets vs. Jaguars Head to Head
After 18 games, the series is tied at 9 victories each. Last meeting was in December 2024, when the Jets won on the road, 32-25.
Jets vs. Jaguars Predictions
Jags will win this one, and we believe they are going to cover the spread. Jets’ form outside New York has been pretty questionable all season, while the Jags don’t have mercy in Florida.
