- Titans vs. 49ers odds heavily favor Niners, -950.
- Tennessee has the worst offense in the league.
- The TOTAL went OVER in 5 of the 49ers’ last 6 games.
This is a good chance for the 49ers to get the win and stay in the mix for the NFC West title. On the other hand, this could be a valuable teaching opportunity for the Titans.

Titans vs. 49ers Odds
Game Preview
Tennessee won last weekend, and they did so against one of the better defenses in the league. It was 31-29 for them against the Browns, in Cleveland, after a very tough finish in which Tennessee kept its composure and rebuffed the Browns’ two-point conversion attempt.
Cam Ward had a terrible passing session, completing only 14 of 28 passes for 117 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. But the veteran RB, Tony Pollard, was there, with 161 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The 49ers also played their last game in Cleveland, and they too beat the Browns, 26-8, only two weeks ago. Kyle Shanahan’s boys had a week off, which came at the perfect time for these guys, who needed a bit of rest. A lot of the Niners will be injury-free after this break.
San Francisco’s defense isn’t near the top in any category, except allowed points. With 20.7 per game, they are the 8th scoring defense in the NFL, and to be honest, if it weren’t for that, with all Jones’ and Purdy’s meltdowns, the Niners wouldn’t be in the playoff race.
Titans vs. 49ers Head to Head
There have been just 15 games between these two franchises. The Niners lead the series, 9-6.
Titans vs. 49ers Predictions
Tennessee is at least two levels beneath the 49ers, who, truth be told, won’t spend too much energy here, yet rather save it for later. Their defense will drown Ward and the poor Titans’ O-line, and that’s quite enough for them to cover the spread.
