Chiefs vs. Titans Odds
Game Preview
There couldn’t be a worse scenario for the Chiefs this weekend than to suffer a loss and to lose Patrick Mahomes long-term. He tore both the ACL and the LCL, which is a huge bust for the team and its future.
Gardner Minshew will replace Mahomes, and from what we saw against the Chargers, when he threw an interception that sealed the game, the backup QB needs to be much better. Though, there won’t be any pressure on him now, because the team can’t reach the playoffs.
The same goes for the Titans, who are 2-12 this season and are in a rebuild. All eyes are on Cam Ward, the No.1 pick from this year’s draft, and his progress.
Tennessee comes back home after a two-game stretch on the road. They would beat the Browns in Cleveland, 31-29, and then lost to the Niners in San Francisco, 37-24. Ward was good at Levi’s Stadium, throwing for 170 passing yards and two touchdowns. He was neither sacked nor picked.
Chiefs vs. Titans Head to Head
These two teams have met 56 times, and the Chiefs lead 31-25. The last meeting was in 2022, when KC won after OT, 20-17 at home.
Chiefs vs. Titans Predictions
The spread on the Chiefs is 3.5 points, and they are good enough to cover that, no matter Mahomes’ absence. Sure, his injury is a disaster, but the Chiefs won’t become the Raiders or the Titans right away.
