Raiders vs. Texans Odds
Game Preview
The Las Vegas Raiders have by far the weakest offense in the NFL, scoring only 14 points per game and posting 244.1 total yards per game. And that’s normal when you have Geno Smith, who threw God knows how many interceptions this season.
Last weekend, LVR went to Philly, where the Eagles beat them 31-0. This time, Kenny Pickett started at QB, being equally bad as Smith. Though we have to add that the run game was horrifying, recording 46 yards on the ground.
As for the Texans, they have been very confident against the Cardinals, whom they beat 40-20 at home. After a series of formidable rivals (Bills, Colts, Chiefs), Houston had one easier, and they routinely closed the job.
CJ Stroud had 260 passing yards and three TD passes. Two of them went to Nico Collins and one to Dalton Schultz. Also, the run game produced 143 yards, with Jawhar Jordan getting 101 in 15 carries.
Raiders vs. Texans Head to Head
In 13 games so far, the Texans have posted 8 wins, while the Raiders have posted 5.
Raiders vs. Texans Predictions
The home team will steamroll the terrible Raiders, maybe even without allowing a single point. The spread the Texans have to cover is 14.5 points, and we will take it, even though it looks high. Houston is accelerating, and they won’t calculate here.
