Game Preview
The Rams lost to the Seahawks last weekend, 38-37 after overtime, and that defeat allowed Seattle to jump them over and take the top of the division and the conference. However, this unit is still the biggest contender for the Super Bowl.
Matt Stafford leads the top offense in the NFL, scoring 30.5 points per game, and he alone is the leading favorite to clinch the NFL MVP award. He won’t have Davante Adams in this game due to an injury, and that’s a big blow, because Adams leads the league with 14 receiving touchdowns.
Falcons have back-to-back triumphs, both on the road, against the Buccaneers and the Cardinals. If they played like this all season, Pitts and the guys would be in the playoffs now.
In a 26-19 triumph over the Cardinals, we saw Kirk Cousins throwing 197 passing yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and also, him making a fumble and rushing for a TD. Bijan Robinson had 79 rushing and 92 receiving yards with one caught TD pass.
