Commanders vs. Falcons Odds
Game Preview
Marcus Mariota started instead of Daniels, and he looked well in the Commanders’ 41-24 win over the Raiders. The 2014 Heisman Trophy award winner had 207 passing yards and one touchdown pass. But, he also ran for 40 yards and another touchdown.
Overall, the Commanders had 201 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground. The only receiving touchdown they posted was through Luke McCaffrey, the younger brother of the 49ers’ star Christian.
Michael Penix Jr. showed his inexperience against the Panthers, having 18 completions in 36 passing atempts, throwing for two interceptions, and completely losing controll over the game against, according to many, the weakest team in the NFC.
In the end, it was 30-0 for the Panthers, and in our opinion, we are definitely seeing the veteran Kirk Cousins on the field next weekend. He replaced Penix Jr. in the finish in Charlotte.
Commanders vs. Falcons Head to Head
Washington has won the past 4 meetings, the last of which was during the previous season in DC, 30-24, following overtime.
Commanders vs. Falcons Predictions
Cousins will probably start against his former team, and the Falcons are a bit different with him in the lineup. Though, according to NFL insiders, Jayden Daniels should be ready for this event too, and this is why we pick the Commanders to take the W on the road in Georgia.
