Vikings vs. Browns Odds
Game Preview
The Vikes didn’t have to travel much, as they moved from Dublin to London which is 280 miles via plane. They lost to the Steelers, 24-21, committing two turnovers, both by the backup QB Carson Wentz, who was picked twice. Minnesota’s offensive line collapsed, allowing 6 sacks for 48 negative yards.
Two bright spots were WRs Justin Jefferson with 126 receiving yards and Jordan Addison with 114, including an 81-yard reception. Though, that wasn’t enough for the Vikes.
The Cleveland Browns should give the rookie Shedeur Sanders a chance. Starting QB Joe Flacco was terrible in a 34-10 loss to the Lions on the road, completing 16 of his 34 passes for 184 yards and two interceptions.
Believe it or not, the Browns defense didn’t record a single sack in this event, which is incredible. However, they are still the best defense in the NFL in terms of rushing yards allowed, with 70.2, and overall yards from scrimmage, 225.5.
Vikings vs. Browns Head to Head
Minnesota Vikings lead in the all-time series 12-5. The last game was in 2021, when Cleveland won in Minneapolis, 14-7.
Vikings vs. Browns Predictions
This is a nice opportunity for the Vikes to win. Not because they are better, but because the Browns had to travel to England and adapt, while Minnesota had already found its rhythm in Europe. That’s the sole reason to pick Kevin O’Connell’s unit.
