The Arizona Cardinals (2-3) opened the season with a 2-0 record but have experienced three straight losses, all of which have been extremely narrow. The most recent was against the Tennessee Titans, 22-21. Just to note here that the Cards had a 21-3 lead.
This game could have long-standing consequences for Arizona, as it could kill the morale of the unit. The team ran for 168 yards, with all three of their TDs coming on the ground, yet when it mattered the most, the Cards froze and lost.
Indianapolis Colts lost to the Rams on the road yet bounced back quickly, smashing the Raiders, 40-8. RB Jonathan Taylor has had 3 rushing touchdowns in just 66 yards on the ground, while QB Daniel Jones had 212 passing yards with 2 touchdown passes.
Colts’ secondary picked off Geno Smith twice, effectively shutting down the Raiders’ pass game early on. There’s one more thing that is not popularized in the media – Indianapolis has the 3rd-best defense in the FL, allowing just 17.8 points per game.
