Game Preview

Prescott dominated the Jets, throwing 4 TD passes against them in New York and recording 237 passing yards. WR Ryan Flournoy had 6 catches for 114 yards, while on the other hand, Javonte Williams ran for 135 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys had 180 rushing yards.

The final result was 37-22. Now, Dallas is No. 4 in points per game scored, at 30.2, but it also boasts the third-worst defense in the NFL, allowing 30.8 points. Dak is the second in passing yards with 1,356, behind the untouchable Jared Goff.

The Carolina Panthers (2-3) have yet to lose at home this season. After beating the Falcons, 30-0, they were better than the Miami Dolphins, 27-24, in a game in which the hosts trailed by 17 points.

An incredible running back, Rico Dowdle, had 206 rushing yards on 23 carries, also scoring a touchdown. He was the focal point of the Panthers’ comeback, though we have to add that QB Bryce Young had a decent game with two touchdown passes, one intercepted, and 198 passing yards.

Cowboys vs. Panthers Head to Head

The Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Panthers have met 17 times, and the franchise from Texas holds a slight edge with 12 wins and 5 losses. The most recent meeting was last year, when they beat the Panthers in Charlotte, 30-14.

Cowboys vs. Panthers Predictions

Prescott and Dallas’ attack are far more potent than Carolina’s, and that’s the reason why we believe in their win here. The Cowboys can keep up a high pace on that side of the ball, while the Panthers can’t.
